Thirteen digital projects were selected nationally to receive grants for inclusion within the brand new People's Network Discovery Service and the Dorset Coast Digital Archive and Etched on Devon's Memory were amongst them.

This is a pioneering project available to the People's Network Discovery Service, an innovative new service that is at the heart of the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council's strategic vision of the Knowledge Web, connecting people to information, learning and creativity online and adding public value to cultural sector digital content. PN Discovery is available on the web and features prominently on the extensive network of PC's in all public libraries nationally.

The service acts as a signpost to items available on the selected websites and offers people joined up access to a wealth of information from across the cultural sector.
