The Big Lottery Fund
is a lottery distributor created by the National Lottery Act (1998). It is a UK-wide, non-departmental public body sponsored by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport and it is responsible for distributing grants for projects relating to health, education, and the environment, as determined by the Government.
